About Us

Mission
Sewn To Restore exists to combat human trafficking through awareness and action. We use a twofold approach: awareness and action. Awareness brings the devastation of human trafficking to the attention of people who can then join us in the fight. Through action, we aid women who have been rescued from trafficking, or those at risk of being trafficked.
This aid comes in the form of “Restore Rooms” where women are provided with life, educational, and vocational training areas such as sewing, computer skills, hospitality and food service, hairstyling, and learning the English language. After women complete the Restore Room program, Sewn To Restore helps them find employment with fair wages, safe working environments, and appropriate work hours, if they so choose. This provides the women with the skills to no longer live in poverty and will reduce their vulnerability of being revictimized by human trafficking.
We believe that the more people are aware of human trafficking, and the more women we can save from it, the better this world will be for everyone.
