Welcome to Sewn to Restore

  • Raise awareness of human trafficking. Our primary awareness focus is labor trafficking within the fashion industry.
  • Aid women survivors who have been affected directly, or are at risk, of human trafficking. They are considered ‘clients’ in our program.
  • Build and manage a life skills center, called the Restore Room. Our clients will be provided with life, educational, and vocational training in trade skills such as sewing garments. Clients will complete our program in 9-12 months at no cost to them. Any job offers we present will be with employers who offer fair wages and fair working hours. Elegantees will be a primary employer.

Our long term vision is to plant Restore Rooms around the world in countries where labor trafficking is prominent. We are so excited that the next step in this dream is coming!
